My name is Hannah Smith. I am a wife, mother, former law enforcement officer, and history lover.

I love to write, but reading often intimidates me. However, I am trying to break free from my own reserves about engaging in ideas that seem too big for me. I think reading is the best way to do that. My hope is that this blog will help me process what I read and engage in conversations around those ideas.
